These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of chicagosportssummit.com (the “Site”) and your registration for or participation in the Chicago Sports Summit (the “Event”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site and Event
The Chicago Sports Summit is an annual business-of-sports gathering presented by Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, with proceeds benefiting orthopedic research at Rush through the Chicago Sports Summit Foundation. The Site provides information about the Event and a means to learn about participation, register, inquire about sponsorship, and make donations.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets, commit to a sponsorship, or make a donation through the Site, or you must do so with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, photographs, the Chicago Sports Summit name and marks, and the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush name and marks — is owned by or licensed to Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Sponsor and partner names and logos are the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
4. Tickets, Registration, and Sponsorship
Tickets and tables are subject to availability and to the specific terms presented at the time of purchase. Individual ticket sales for the 2026 Event are expected to open on September 8, 2026. 5. Donations
Donations made through the Site are voluntary and are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal. The Chicago Sports Summit Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We do not provide tax advice; please consult your tax advisor. See our Disclaimer for more information.
6. Changes to the Event
The Event date, time, location, format, program, and participant lineup are subject to change. The participant list is preliminary, and additional participants may be announced. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, introducing malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site contains links to, and relies on, third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, policies, or practices of any third party, and your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Please review our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, the Chicago Sports Summit, the Chicago Sports Summit Foundation, and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your participation in the Event.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, the Chicago Sports Summit, the Chicago Sports Summit Foundation, and their affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
